SKY has loads of features to boost your TV but some are more welcome than others.
Fortunately, you have the power to switch them off.
One such tool that you may not like is the voice controls on Sky Glass.
It's meant to be helpful, allowing you to summon shows and channels simply using your voice.
You don't even have to hold the remote up like you do on Sky Q and Sky Stream.
All you have to do is say, "Hello Sky" followed by your command.

How to turn off Sky Glass voice activation
It's really easy to turn voice activation off on Sky Glass.
To the right of your TV there are two buttons – an on/off switch and a microphone button.
Press the microphone button and it will no longer listen out for commands.
Better still, you can continue to use the microphone button on your Sky remote so you're not missing out entirely.
