THE iPhone 15 Pro models may have an overheating problem, according to reports from users.
While the long-awaited Apple devices were unveiled just two weeks ago, some customers are disappointed with the performance so far.
Customers have taken to social media to complain that their devices are prone to shutting down due to overheating, and in some cases, being too hot to even hold.
"The natural titanium iPhone 15 Pro gets extremely hot, so much so that it becomes difficult to hold," engineer turned tech content creator Mohit Verma wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
"It heats up after just a two-minute FaceTime call or when scrolling through reels for eight-10 minutes.
"This is a new issue for me, as I've never encountered this with any previous phone."

In a video, Verma recorded himself temperature checking his iPhone 15 Pro which showed it hitting highs of 42 degrees Celcius.
A separate report from Apple Hub claimed that sitting on the Home Screen for just two minutes caused the device to overheat.
Verma, and others experiencing the same issue, say they are concerned that the overheating may cause long-lasting battery damage.
He added: "This gonna harm battery health here.. and what if something happens with motherboard because of heat? Will Apple fix that for free?"

Fellow tech blogger Alex Gear & Tech said the issue was stopping him from charging the device.
"Charging stopped again as the iPhone 15 Pro Max was too hot," he tweeted.
"This time sitting idle at my desk, charging via USB-C."
In his own video, a temperature check Alex conducted saw the device hit highs of 102 degrees Farenheit, nearly 39 degrees Celcius.
It has been suggested that the overheating problem is a software issue that has emerged with the iOS 17 update.
The Sun has contacted Apple for comment.
While it's certainly disappointing forking out between £999 and £1,199 on an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max that allegedly can't withstand 10 minutes of social media scrolling, there are ways to fix it.
Here are six tips to keeping your phone cool:
- Enable the auto-brightness feature in Settings
- Turn off Bluetooth
- Close apps that use location services, like Safari and Maps
- Turn off AirDrop
- Avoid high intensity activities like gaming apps or HD streaming
- Turn off Wi-Fi in extreme cases
