Natalie, 39, joined EastEnders in the early 90s before departing the series in 2007. She then did theatre work, released a fitness DVD and appeared as a regular panellist on The Wright Stuff.

She appeared on BBC Two comedy Psychoville alongside Dawn French and Eileen Atkins before returning to EastEnders permanently in 2014.

Away from the screen, Natalie lives in Hertfordshire and is a mum of two.

She has been in a relationship with her current partner cameraman Marc Humphreys since 2014.

While Natalie was born in Islington in London, the actor has moved away from the capital and ended up in Hertfordshire.

The area is one of the Home Counties in southern England and is a popular home for commuters thanks to its close proximity to London.

Hertfordshire is also close to Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Buckinghamshire.

The county’s close proximity to the capital makes it a pricy spot to buy a property.

Properties in Hertfordshire had an overall average price of £518,094 over the last year, according to Rightmove.

The majority of sales in Hertfordshire during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £432,040.

Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £543,653, with flats fetching £288,866.

Overall, sold prices in Hertfordshire over the last year were three percent up on the previous year and 16 percent up on the 2019 peak of £446,942.

Natalie shares her home with partner Marc and her two daughters Eliza and Joanie.

The home is beautiful with lots of homely, welcoming features and personal touches.

In a snap on Instagram from her dining room, her fans caught a glimpse of her lounge/dining room.

The room had cream carpets, a large dining table and large windows with lots of natural light flooding in.

Pendant lights hang from the ceiling above the dining room table creating a pretty feature.

The dining room table has a glass top and the chairs are made from dark brown leather.

Natalie’s kitchen is impressive with lots of mod-cons and features, perhaps indicating the actress has a passion for cooking.

The kitchen has granite worktops, an electric hob, electric scales and what appears to be a stainless steel pressure cooker.

The tiles in the kitchen are cream, stone-effect with white grout. The kitchen floor has brown and grey tiles.
