Dame Prue Leith, 81, appears on our screens every Tuesday for Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off. She joined the show in March 2017, replacing Mary Berry, after the show move from BBC to Channel 4. She judges contestants’ bakes alongside Paul Hollywood and Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding who present the show.

The 81-year-old is known for her bright clothing, outlandish jewellery and statement glasses.

But is her colourful taste in clothes reflected in her home? takes a look inside Prue Leith’s home.

Prue is a keen gardener and will be hosting a new show on Channel 4 called Prue’s Great Garden Plot starting on Wednesday at 9pm.

The show will reveal how she managed to transform her garden from a building site to a stunning garden with her husband John.

Prue often posts “kitchen hacks” on her Instagram account where she films herself cooking up a storm.

In one of the videos called “How to make a home grown salad”, her followers managed to gain some insight into her garden.

Prue appears to have trough planters full of exotic plants, herbs and salad leaves situated on gravel in her garden.

In the background, a wooden bench can be seen painted a rusty brown colour.

While she’s picking her salad leaves, viewers can see more through planters full of plants and a sneak peek of the back of her house.

She appears to have glass sliding doors leading out into the yard.

It’s no surprise that Prue’s kitchen is state-of-the-art.

However, splashes of bright colours can also be seen throughout the design, reflecting her unique style.

In the same video, viewers can see Prue’s yellow kitchen cupboards and white marble work tops.

The yellow cupboards are in the centre of the kitchen on an island.

The island is also home to a large spinner which is jam-packed full of utensils, oils and spices.

In another video, Prue’s followers can see a large palm plant in the background and a gold vase.

A painting of more plants can also be seen hanging above a small book case.

It appears Prue is lucky enough to have four ovens as well as a swish-looking induction hob.

She also has large stainless steel racks which have utensils hanging from them.

In another video, Prue has a farmhouse ceramic sink and shelves full of plants and crockery.

Other rooms

A photo taken in May reveals a little more of Prue’s home.

She can be seen wearing a navy and white striped top with a sequinned bee on the front.

Prue appears to be in an emerald green room full of picture frames which have been hung up in rows across the wall.

In another photo taken in April, Prue can be seen sat on a pale pink sofa in a bright red room.

Behind her are book shelves full of books and photographs.
