THE world's most expensive new car is a \u00a325m Rolls-Royce Droptail convertible that comes with a champagne chest.<\/p>\n

The car giant has just released its exclusive motor after five years in the making.<\/p>\n

Made for a mystery female buyer, the one-of-a-kind beast has two doors and only two seats – specifically designed for the husband and wife who splashed millions on it.<\/p>\n

The couple, who have been described as "super rich", come from an art-loving champagne and fashion dynasty in France.<\/p>\n

Their love for the bubbly beverage saw them include a champagne chest and cooler to carry their bottles and glasses, in their design.<\/p>\n

An electro-chromatic glass roof section also means at the press of a button it can go darker or stay clear.<\/p>\n

Named the La Rose Noire, it's inspired by the velvet-like Black Baccara Rose which is also from France as a subtle nod to their roots.<\/p>\n

The car's red and black exterior matches the petals on the flower and is said to represent romance, according to Rolls-Royce.<\/p>\n

Inside, complex wood work is made up of 1,603 individual, intricate and hand-made triangular pieces representing the rose petals.<\/p>\n

It is described by Rolls-Royce as "a romantic celebration of the couple who created it".<\/p>\n

Manufacturers say it is one of four Droptails that will be produced over the coming years.<\/p>\n

It is estimated to accelerate up to 62mph in just five seconds.<\/p>\n

And top speeds include 155mph.<\/p>\n

Quite lengthy for a motor, it is 5.3metres long, 2metres wide and 1.5metres high.<\/p>\n
