AN expert mechanic has shared a secret he says car salesmen don't want people to know.<\/p>\n

Scotty Kilmer, who has been in the motors game for more than five decades, said the tip could save car hunters thousands of pounds.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The mechanic claimed that waiting until the end of the month to buy a new vehicle from a yard could help you barter a salesman down. <\/p>\n

He said it could make around \u00a32,000 difference. <\/p>\n

Scotty said the salesmen could drop the price tag because they don't own the cars – they set costs based on how much the owe the banks. <\/p>\n

He revealed the money saving tip on Tiktok. <\/p>\n
