Now, Google has updated Flights to include new features that can help users save even more money. <\/p>\n
Google Flights can help you choose the best time to book a flight.<\/p>\n
It does this by assessing vast amounts of historical data based on the type of flight you want and when.<\/p>\n
Then, it uses that data to provide you with information on when prices typically fall and when they tend to be higher.<\/p>\n
These prices are color-coordinated; if the text is green, it's a good deal. <\/p>\n
If the price is red, you\u2019re better off waiting it out until a better price comes along. <\/p>\n
"For searches with reliable trend data, you\u2019ll now see when prices have typically been lowest to book your chosen dates and destination," Google emphasized on its website.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Google Flights can also notify you when the price of a flight changes. <\/p>\n Meaning, you can get instant alerts when the price drops below a certain price. <\/p>\n This allows users to quickly snag flights at a desired price point without needing to constantly check online. <\/p>\n "If you do want to wait for lower fares before you book,\u00a0price tracking\u00a0can do most of the heavy lifting for you," Google said. <\/p>\n Price Guarantee is a Flights feature that basically ensures you're getting the best deal on a flight. <\/p>\n This symbol basically means that Google is pretty sure that this is the best price you could possibly get for the given flight.<\/p>\n "On some flight results, you\u2019ll see a colorful price guarantee badge, which means we\u2019re especially confident the fare you see today won\u2019t get any lower before departure," Google explained. <\/p>\n "When you book one of these flights, we\u2019ll monitor the price every day before takeoff, and if the price does go down, we\u2019ll pay you back the difference via Google Pay," the tech giant added.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/newspress-collage-23684640-1693291109597.jpg\")
