RUMBLE is a Canadian-based online video platform that rivals YouTube.

The site attracts over 44million active users each month, after banking some of YouTube's top performers, like Jeremy Lynch and True Crime's Shaun Attwood.

Headquartered in Toronto, Rumble is an online video-sharing platform founded by Chris Pavlovski.

Since its inception in 2013 until 2020, Rumble mainly pushed viral videos from mainstream media sources.

The website began to lean into politics more heavily throughout 2020 after YouTube was accused of being "overly censorious" by former Rep. Devin Nunes of California.

Prominent channels active on Rumble include America's Funniest Home Videos, E.W. Scripps Company, Hodgetwins, Newsmax, OANN, and Reuters.

The site has become a meeting ground for controversial voices, such as Andrew Tate, Jordan B Peterson, Joe Rogan and Russell Brand.

Brand cut a deal with the site a year ago for his Stay Free programme, where he’s said to have peddled “conspiracy theories” to his 1.4million Rumble followers.

The alt video platform has also backed the British comedian after four women accused him of rape and sexual assault during the height of his career, between 2006 and 2013.

Rumble has also become a place for political figureheads, such as Donald Trump and Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Drew Barrymore Show tried to build a presence on the platform, but ultimately gave up around 10 months ago.

Actor Ashton Kutcher and YouTube comedian Colleen Ballinger are also among the celebrities who have posted on the platform, but eventually abandoned it, according to Rolling Stone.

Founder and CEO of Rumble, Chris Pavlovski, is also recognized for founding Cosmic Development – an IT outsourcing and consultancy firm with around 100 employees.

After studying at the University of Toronto, Pavlovski worked for the Microsoft Corporation.

A former board member for Next Giant Leap, the tech mogul was selected as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2010.

He also sits on the board of Every Day Child, a non-profit charity.

</picture>TWEET TAX

</picture>CALL IT A DAY

</picture>DUCKING YES!

</picture>TURN IT DOWN

According to The Wall Street Journal, with investments from venture capitalists Peter Thiel and J.D.
