<\/p>\nSAMSUNG owners are about to receive a big phone update that will bring along a new emoji design, camera app\u00a0upgrade and more customisation. <\/p>\n
The sparkly new operating system will be issued out to\u00a0Samsung\u00a0Galaxy devices over the coming weeks under the title One UI 6.0.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It's being rolled out to different phones in stages.<\/p>\n
The update has already hit Samsung's newest Galaxy phones first, including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.<\/p>\n
But this week, the owners of two more Samsung handsets will be able to install the update. <\/p>\n
This includes owners of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.<\/p>\n
Next week, older Fold and Flip devices will receive the update.<\/p>\n Samsung\u2019s One UI 6.0 update (known as Android 14 on Google phones) is also being issues to Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S22 users in the US.<\/p>\n It's important to note that some Samsung owners will be excluded from the free upgrade entirely, such as the original Galaxy Fold handset.<\/p>\n Check the complete list to\u00a0see if your phone is eligible for the upgrade.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Beyond a new emoji design, the One UI 6.0 update features a raft of other highlights.<\/p>\n A new button layout has brought along dedicated\u00a0Wi-Fi\u00a0and\u00a0Bluetooth\u00a0icons to the top of the screen for easy access.<\/p>\n Samsung owners (and millions of other Android fans) will also be able to reposition the clock on their Lock screen for added customisation.<\/p>\n There's a more "stylish and modern" default font, according to experts at SamMobile, that can be selected in Settings.<\/p>\n Pop-up windows will stay open when you navigate over to the Recents screen, so users can pick up where they left off.<\/p>\n Samsung owners can also enjoy a new weather widget with enhanced illustrations alongside more information about snowfall, atmospheric pressure and moon phases.<\/p>\n The camera app is gaining custom widgets to choose from, more alignment options for watermarks, easier video sizing options, quality optimisation and a new Auto FPS setting for brighter videos.<\/p>\n While the gallery has been tweaked to allow for quicker edits in detail view and the ability to ave clipped images and stickers.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/man-watching-tv-remote-control-833541749.jpg\")
