One man is revealing how he is earning £10,000 a month as a bricklayer despite leaving school with zero GCSEs.

Kurt Malplass, 26, from Teann in Staffordshire drives a £30,000 sportscar “by earning £1 per brick” at his job.

While at school, he was put in a class for children “who don’t listen” but fell into a career in bricklaying upon leaving education.

As of today, Mr Malplass is a qualified bricklayer who has been self-employed since the age of 19 and makes £800 daily.

On TikTok and Instagram, the 26-year-old documents how he was able to make these accomplishments.

He explained: “I’m quite clever but subjects like French, Spanish and geography never interested me.

“When I went to do bricklaying, I fell in love with it and I was naturally good at it too. I bought my first house at 19 – if you’re willing to work hard and put in the hours you can earn ridiculous money.

“Being a bricklayer, people don’t look at you like you’re a clever person. People think it’s easy and we’re overpaid for what we do – but it’s a skill and not everyone can do it.”
