Amazon Fire Stick users are just realizing they need to delete 'space-hogging' apps to boost performance of device | The Sun

PROBLEMS with your Amazon Fire TV Stick may be due to the apps you've downloaded.

Too many apps can actually slow down the Fire Stick, especially if they're all running in the background.

Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV have a total of 8GB of storage each.

Once you've used it up you'll need to start deleting apps to make room for others.

Considering the tens of thousands of apps you can download, it's easy to have way more than you need.

It's easy to uninstall an app on your Fire Stick device.

Turn on your TV and head to the Settings section with your Fire remote.

This should be in the top right-hand corner.

Next, you'll want to head to Manage Installed Applications.

Click this and then select the app or apps you want to remove.
