In a recent video, Ms Houghton broke down why motorists should download this app to make big savings on petrol.
Her TikTok was captioned: “The biggest hack for saving money on petrol – have you tried this out? Let me know.”
The content creator shared: “I just found the biggest hack for saving money on petrol. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this app before, it’s honestly been life-changing.
“So, this app is called PetrolPrices and it does what it says on the tin. It tells you all the petrol prices at the petrol stations around you and compares them in numerical, chronological order.

“I end up going to either an Esso or Shell and end up spending god knows how much money on petrol.
“Not anymore. Especially in this time when petrol prices are so high, it has been a game-changer.”
